Information For Wadi Al-Thahab
Program Description: When going on the Wadi Al-Thahab adventure, you will be able to relax in the hot springs and have an unforgettable view onto the Dead Sea. Expect climbing, rappelling and appreciating the hot waterfalls. The 6km-route will go over land and through water, but no swimming is included. The trip will start from the springs in Madaba and goes down towards the Dead Sea. A photographer will capture all you adventurous moments. You will be transported to the start of the wadi by touring bus and will be brought back to Amman after your experience. Breakfast will be provided and cooked dinner is served next to the wadi at the end of the hike. Please note that lunch is not included, so bringing your own lunch is recommended. Professional guides will accompany you on the trip through the wadi to make sure you will enjoy your adventure in a safe way.

*There may be minor adjustments to the program as it’s really hard to control the timing on the Adventure Trips.
Important to Bring:
Your own lunch to eat inside the canyon as we provide breakfast and dinner only.
Comfortable running shoes, no need to bring professional canyoning shoes.
Sunglasses, hat, dry clothes to wear after the hike and sunblock.
We recommend you to freeze a bottle of water one day before the hike so you enjoy drinking cold water inside the canyon.
The physical rating of this adventure is moderate.
Most of the hike will be in water (There are 2 small pools and swimming is optional)
Its a 6 km hike starting from the springs in Madaba and going down towards the Dead sea street.
There will be 2 abseils.
Wearing a helmet is a MUST in this program (we will provide one for you)
Everybody must fill and sign the” knowledge of risk” papers.
We don’t accept participants less than 12 years old in this program. Please note that children under 15 years must be accompanied by an adult who accepts responsibility for them by signing the “knowledge of risk” paper.
Maximum number participants: 50 persons (In case the number of participants is 50, we will divide them into 2 groups - each group containing 25 persons)
The trip fee includes: transportation, 2 meals (breakfast & dinner), water, a refreshment, helmet, first aid & guiding.
